There’s freedom for children to develop their physical skills with the soft play area! Soft play gives the opportunity for children to explore in a safe and padded environment. Coordination, stength and balancing skills can be reinforced through our soft play area. As well as building a confidence and independence!
There are lots of ways children can explore in our 3 tier soft play area in Chesterfield. With 2 slides, tunnels and climbing obstacles. As well as a mini- tampoline area!
Role Play

Children can engage in role play activities within our Tiny Town! Our themed role play areas replicate every day life. Within our ‘Tiny Town’ you can find a mini village with a Farm Shop, a Cosy Cottage, as well as a Barnyard with cows and pigs! Take your poorly farm animals to the Animal Hospital, and visit the ‘Moo-shack’ dessert and ice cream parlour!
Learning through imaginitive play is a vital part of a child’s development and creativity. There are so many benefits for role play centres for children. Physical skills such as fine motor skills, and cognitive skills, like creative thinking, can all be developed through role play.
Play Sessions
At our play centre for kids we run different play sessions for different age groups. We believe every child grows and develops at their own pace, why is why we don’t put an age limit on our children’s play centre. Instead, we run different sessions targeted at different age groups. Some for the little ones and babies, and others for the bigger kids!
Starting from Monday 19th January, we will be trialing our new week-day drop in sessions! More flexibility for you and your families, making a more stress-free and simple visit to Tiny Town! Just choose an AM or PM session, and drop in any time within the slot time. We’re aiming to create a more relaxed system, as parents you never know what your day will look like! Less structure means you can come and go as you please, and work around your busy schedule!

Monday – Friday (Term Time only):
Week day drop in sessions, starting from Monday 19th Jan. Book for a morning or afternoon slot and come by whenever you like within the session time!

Prices & Booking
To visit our children’s play centre in Chesterfield, it’s £7.50 per child. Non walkers are free with a paying child.
You can use our Parent and Baby option to book for you and your baby to visit our indoor play area in Chesterfield. It’s £4.95 for Parent & Baby.
You get one free adult per child, any extra adults are £2.50 each.

About Tiny Town
Indoor Play Centre in Chesterfield
Most of you willl know us from Tiny Town Chesterfield and Tiny Town Sheffield – Our first Role Play Centres! Tiny Town was established in 2019 with our first role play centre – Tiny Town Sheffield.
For many years we have specialised in role play for children. We are excited to branch out into the world of soft play. Combining the two valuable types of play.
There are many different benefits of role play and soft play for children. We aim to create a welcoming and safe space, where children can build on important skills for their development. And a learning through play environment!
Our children’s play centre in Chesterfield is home to a soft play frame! Complete with 3 slides and multiple levels, there’s lots of room for little ones to explore. Soft play encourages activities like crawling, climbing and balancing, which all help develop strength and coordination skills.
As well as the soft play aspect, our children’s play centre also covers role play for children! There’s a mini ‘Tiny Town’ role play village, where children an explore their imagination and creativity. Role play is a perfect way for children to grow and discover the world around them! Within our ‘Tiny Town’ you will find a Farmyard corner – with a farm shop, farm house and a barn with sheep and pigs! As well as a mini village, complete with a farm animal hospital and a ‘Moo-Shack’ dessert & ice cream parlour.
Our play centre in Chesterfield is suitable for babies too! We have a designated baby area, specially designed for little ones and non walkers.

How does it work at your soft play centre?
At our children’s play centre in Chesterfield we work in play sessions. During your session, you and your child will have access to our soft play area, role play areas, baby areas and will be able to order food and drink from our cafe.
After each session finishes we ring a bell and play a tidy up song to encourange a quick tidy of all the toys! Then, when the session is over our play area closes for 30 minutes. To allow staff to clean and tidy the area ready for the next group of children!

We reccomend that you prebook your play session for our children’s play centre in Chesterfield. This ensures everyone has a dedicated space within our play centre, and we can keep an eye on our numbers. Maintaining a safe and happy environment inside our play area.

How much is a session at your play centre?
To visit our children’s play centre in Chesterfield, it’s £7.50 per child. Each child gets 1 free adult included with their entry. Any additional adults are just £2.50 to enter to our soft play centre.
We have a dedicated play area for babies within our play centre. For babies and non walkers, you can choose the ‘Parent & Baby’ option on our booking system for just £4.95. However, non walkers are free with a paying sibling!
What is there to do in your play centre?
There’s so much for little ones to explore! Within our children’s play centre there are two different aspects. We have our role play areas on one side, with a special baby area. And a soft play area with a multi-storey frame, two slides and an under 2’s area!
Within our role play zone there are four different, main areas. A Cosy Cottage, a Farm Shop, a Farmyard Vets and a Moo Shack Dessert Parlour. Children can use their imagination and pretend play within our role play areas, sparking their creativity!
Within our soft play area in Chesterfield, there is a large multi-storey frame. Built specially for those who need to let off a bit of energy! There are lots of opportunities for children to build on their physical development. Things to climb on and crawl through. Gross motor skills like balancing, jumping, crawling can all be demonstrated.
At our play centre in Chesterfield there is something for all ages. Including babies and non walkers! We have a specially designed baby area for little ones to explore. Within our baby play area, there are baskets filled with sensory toys for little ones to discover. Soft cushions and toys, perfect for tummy time! We want to ensure new mums dfeel welcomed and safe when visiting our soft play centre, creating a safe and calm environment for their babies to grow and develop during play.
Can you order food at your play centre?
When visiting our soft play area in Chesterfield, customers can order food and drinks from the counter! Each booking gets an allocated a table inside our children’s play centre. We have a cafe space within the play area. Meaning you can enjoy a drink and some fod while your little ones play, and still be able to keep a close eye on them!
We serve a range of hot and cold drinks at our soft play centre in Chesterfield. Including barista style coffee! If your’e feeling hungry during your visit don’t worry! Do you have toilet facilities?
We have toilet facilities at our play centre in Chesterfield. Including nappy changing facilities and disabled access toilets.
Are children supervised during the play session?
At our soft play centre for children, the safety of each child is a priority. The Tiny Town Team work hard to provide a safe, calm and enjoyable experience for all. Whilst we always keep and eye out during each play session, parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and care for their child whilst visiting Tiny Town Soft Play & Cafe.
